Sandra Arellano joined Applied Survey Research in September 2021. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Child and Adolescent Development from San José State University. Sandra has experience working directly with young children and parents from low-income and first-generation backgrounds, with a focus on supporting children’s development across all domains. In her current role, she specializes in data coordination and program evaluation, reinforcing her commitment to ensuring that services and resources are effectively implemented and produce meaningful outcomes for the communities served. The majority of the programs she has evaluated provide services to families with children from the prenatal period through 18 years of age.

Outside of her professional responsibilities, Sandra enjoys exploring diverse cultural cuisines and spending time with her family. She values opportunities to spend time in San Francisco with her husband and daughter.
