Katherine (Katie) Lee, MPH

Katherine (Katie) Lee, MPH is excited to continue her work at ASR, having previously joined the team in 2010-2011 to work on community health assessments and early childhood programs. She is excited to continue her work in community wellness and improving the health of individuals, especially children and youth. She also hopes to pursue her leadership development and to help the company continue to better serve populations in need.

Mrs. Lee has been called the “marketing expert” throughout her ten-year career in communications, writing and online strategy. She specializes in marketing analytics and assessment of nonprofit and small businesses, and has had the opportunity to serve on projects all over the world. Her work culminated in publishing her first book, Marketing for Good: Principles for Spreading Inspiration. She has also published several online courses with over 8,000 students in attendance since 2015.

Mrs. Lee graduated with honors from the University of California, San Diego with a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology. She then moved to Boston, Massachusetts to pursue a master’s degree in public health. This is where her specialization in health communications and quantitative and qualitative research began, and where her first advertising campaign appeared on buses, billboards and flyers throughout the city of Quincy, MA.

Mrs. Lee is a volunteer meditation teacher for Ananda Worldwide, and enjoys spending time with her family here in Santa Cruz, an Aptos native. She also is an avid wellness lifestyle blogger and teaches classes in person at Ananda Scotts Valley. In her free time she enjoys being in nature, often going to the Sierra Nevada foothills to visit The Expanding Light yoga retreat for a recharge.
