Angie Aguirre, MPA
senior research analyst II
Ms. Aguirre worked at ASR from 2007 to 2009 and recently rejoined the ASR team. She has worked on program evaluations, strategic planning, and community needs assessments. Her past projects include an evaluation of SEEDS for First 5 Santa Clara County, a Community Health Needs Assessment for El Camino Hospital, and strategic planning for the San Mateo County Human Services Agency. She also worked on school readiness assessments for Santa Clara County, San Mateo County, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. She is presently working on a Community Health Needs Assessment for hospitals in Alameda and Contra Costa County.
Ms. Aguirre has a deep expertise in researching and working with the Latino population. She managed the Silicon Valley Latino Report Card for the Hispanic Foundation of Silicon Valley in 2010 and previously authored a study for the foundation examining the giving practices of Latinos in Santa Clara County. She also has extensive experience working in the field of Public Health. In collaboration with the Santa Clara County Public Health Department, she conducted a Community Violence Assessment in 2011, managed a Community Health Needs Health Assessment in 2012, and led public health interventions focused in South Santa Clara County from 2013 to 2015. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Ethnic Studies from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master of Public Affairs from Princeton University. Ms. Aguirre resides in Gilroy with her three children and husband.
