Institutional Review Board
ASR maintains an Institutional Review Board (IRB) which is designed to protect human subjects that may be impacted by research efforts. Institutional Review Boards are governed by United States federal law and are required for all research that receives funding, directly or indirectly from the United States Department of Health and Human Services. ASR's IRB members are from local California universities, including Stanford University, as well as research institutions and non-profit organizations.
